In 2018, I sat at the back of a hall, Soor Sadan in Agra, to listen to the journeys of a few IAS officers. Recently selected, they were felicitated by the administration and shared their experiences, learnings, and motivation with the youths of Agra. The hall felt big while my dreams, timid and small among everyone else's.

Today, on Civil Services Day, I sat once again at the back of another hall. Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, but as an IAS officer, listening to the Honourable Prime Minister of India. PM’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration were conferred on civil servants who have brought real change on the ground. Their achievements celebrated and their journey motivating all of us. Once again, the dreams are shy and small, but this time rising in unity with a different crowd which is more of a family now - the family of civil servants of India.

Proud to be a part of the Steel frame of India!

Happy Civil Services Day!
