Checkmate against the odds and the tears of joy ❤️

Breaking Kasparov's Record, Gukesh becomes youngest Chess champion at 18

The championship began with a crushing defeat for India’s young chess prodigy, Gukesh. His dreams seemed shaken, but the 18-year-old refused to back down. With unrelenting focus, he fought back to level the final in the third round.

The battle escalated. Gukesh took the lead in the 11th round, only to see it slip away as reigning champion Ding struck back. But in the decisive final round, Gukesh delivered a masterstroke, securing victory and rewriting history.

At just 18, Gukesh became the youngest World Chess Champion, breaking Garry Kasparov’s decades-old record. His journey is a testament to resilience, courage, and the power of never giving up—proving that even the toughest defeats can lead to triumphant victories.

Proud moment for India 🇮🇳🇮🇳
